Very Important Pet Mortuary was founded in 2010 by sisters Tracey Victor and Carol Faber. They were mentored over eight years by the late Richard Schatz. VIP was born out of Tracey and Carol's strong belief that all pets deserve respectful, private cremation.
Over the years, VIP has grown into an intimate family of pet lovers.
Jane Richardson joined the business in 2013. Prior to VIP Mortuary, Jane worked with animal rescue and remains an active participant in this community. She became owner of the business in 2017. Each member of the team is drawn to this valuable field of work by the same force: genuine passion and appreciation for the lives of animal companions. Jane is familiar with the hardship of losing a pet and is ready to assist you with the grieving process during this difficult time. She currently resides in Santa Monica with her rescue dog, Moof, and the fosters who join them before finding their forever homes.
